The House System
Every girl is a member of one of our four Houses: Julian, Mandeville, Verulam and Paris – each named after historic academics and writers. Within their Houses girls develop leadership skills through planning fundraising activities for charity days. The House system is also used for sports competitions, and girls earn rewards for their Houses through good behaviour and attitude to learning. Within each House there are House Families comprised of girls from Reception to Year 6 and headed by a member of staff. These families enjoy activities together at regular intervals through the year, allowing girls to make friendships across year groups and giving older children opportunities to mentor and support younger girls.
