We thought last year’s Harry Potter-themed House Drama would be impossible to beat, but this year’s Greek myth-inspired offerings were equally as entertaining!

Verulam brought us Pandora’s Box, while Paris presented Theses and the Minotaur, Mandeville gave their version of Hades and Persephone and Julian offered up Hercules.

Highlights included the usual in-jokes, imaginative arrangements of facial hair and top rate dance routines, plus some brilliant acting, directing, drama tech and backstage support.

For the first time ever, House Drama had a competition element, with guest adjudicator Grace Andrews – an acting teacher, actor, voice artist and award winning filmmaker – called in to choose the winners.

Well done all – especially Paris, who won!
