A Double Silver for Chemistry Students
Congratulations to Anna and Charlotte who have been awarded Silver in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge; a yearly competition run by Cambridge University.
The 90-minute written paper aims to stretch and challenge students interested in chemistry and provides an excellent experience for anyone considering taking their studies further. Set by an experienced team of teachers and university chemists, it encourages students to think about science in the way they would at university.
Anna entered the challenge because she plans to study Natural Sciences at university. She was really pleased with achieving silver as it was a tough challenge. Charlotte also wants to study Chemistry at university and was excited to take part. She found it very beneficial applying her chemical knowledge beyond A level.
Both students should be very proud of their mark as they were in the top 30% of students who sat the paper.
