We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic, forward-thinking and supportive Physical Education & Sports department. This is the perfect opportunity to assist with the delivery of all areas of the Physical Education curriculum, where high standards of teaching and learning are at the heart of all we do.

Expertise and the ability to coach Lacrosse is essential in order to support our curricular and extra-curricular programme; this includes the school’s schedule of fixtures and activities during the week and at weekends. Whilst the newly appointed PE Assistant would not be expected to run a squad training session on their own, they must be prepared to plan, lead and deliver group activities within the training sessions they are assisting. A keen interest or experience of coaching football and/or netball would be desirable.

This role would ideally suit an individual who has a passion for lacrosse and Physical Education or is looking to gain experience ahead of University or undertaking a PGCE. Holding or working towards a Level 1 award in umpiring and/or coaching lacrosse would be highly advantageous.

The current working hours will be Monday – Thursday 9.00am – 5.30pm, Friday 9.00am – 4pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break, please note the working hours may be subject to change. Applicants would also be required for additional coaching/umpiring hours on a Saturday morning (approximate timings 8am-1pm).
