Fixed term for up to one year (Maternity Cover)

Full time / term time, plus 8 days

Actual Salary £15,729.24 p.a. inclusive of holiday pay (£9.43 per hour)

We are looking for a motivated, flexible Kitchen Porter to complement our existing team. The successful candidate may have had previous experience of working in a catering environment but this is not essential. We would like someone that can support and provide general assistance to our catering staff, duties will range from washing pots, clearing and tidying away of dining room equipment to helping with stock checks and unloading food supplies goods being delivered to the school.
The working hours will be 7.00am – 3.00pm Monday – Friday with a 30 minute break each day. During the school holidays there will be a requirement to work 8 cleaning days.
The Prep School is situated in the rural location of Wheathampstead village, only 5 miles from the city of St Albans.
