Welcome from the Head of Sixth Form

In the Sixth Form at STAHS girls encounter a vibrant, busy but caring environment. There are opportunities to develop leadership skills, time to explore interests and the first class facilities and inspirational teaching in small classes required for girls to further their intellectual journeys.

Extensive higher education and careers provision, incorporating a university stretch programme, ensure that over 90% of girls regularly go to their first choice universities, whilst an outstanding lecture programme and our innovative Perspectives initiative develop the analytical and independent learning skills Higher Education demands. Regular monitoring of progress and outstanding pastoral care are provided by an experienced team of tutors.

An enjoyment of the pursuit of academic excellence, a willingness to make the most of opportunities and a strong feeling of community are characteristic of girls in the Sixth Form and they leave well-prepared for the next phase of their lives.

We would be delighted to see you at our open events or come and spend a taster day with us.

I look forward to meeting you.
