As part of our Black History Month celebrations, the STAHS African Caribbean Student Society held an event last week on the theme of Black Excellence. The pupil led evening included music and spoken word performances and presentations as well as themed catering. It was a powerful and uplifting event designed to celebrate the achievements of Black individuals and communities, both past and present. A contribution from the evening went to the Godwin Lawson Foundation, a charity dedicated to empowering young people and fostering safer communities.
