Our whole school production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was a huge hit!

Based on an original story by JK Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, it follows the adventures of Harry, Ron and Hermione and their children 19 years after the Battle of Hogwarts. The story resumes as Harry’s son Albus meets Scorpius Malfoy, the son of Harry’s arch-nemesis, Draco, en route by train to Hogwarts – and drama quickly ensues.

With a cast of over 100, it was a wonderful showcase of the many talents of our students both on and off stage.

In keeping with the show’s magical spirit, the Drama Department worked with the Heads of House to transform Julian, Verulam, Paris and Mandeville into Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Students enjoyed seeing the change in their House Point charts on the screens around school! There was also two Harry Potter inspired lunches, with fabulous themed feasts served up by the STAHS Catering team!
