- 61% of the year group achieved all A* and A grades
- 40% of results were graded A*
- 77% of results were graded A*/A
- 94% of results were graded A*/B
- One fifth of the cohort achieved 3 A* grades
- Over 15% of students have secured Oxbridge places and the majority of leavers will attend Russell Group universities, studying subjects ranging from Aerospace Engineering and Medicine to Marine Biology, Law, Music, Fine Art and Human Sciences.

RESULTS ANALYSIS 2026
STAHS would sit comfortably among the top independent schools in the UK, however we choose not to submit our outcomes for league table publication.
We do not believe that league tables should be the barometer by which schools are measured. STAHS consistently achieves excellent academic results, and we are rightly proud of our pupils’ exam outcomes. However, there is so much more to a STAHS education than exam results; the skills and attributes our girls develop ensure STAHS pupils thrive as adults. It is also important to note that some top-performing HMC schools are not submitting their results for league tables (meaning peer schools are not always included) and different league tables apply different criteria for assessing schools. We believe this means league tables are not a reliable way of comparing schools against one another, and that they do not do justice to the wonderfully talented, ambitious, compassionate, resilient and enthusiastic pupils at STAHS.
Although we don’t formally report our outcomes to news outlets, we will continue to publish a full and transparent breakdown of results on our website each year.
