Religious Studies (Philosophy and Ethics)
Studying Religious Studies, Philosophy and Ethics in the Sixth Form allows students to engage in questions surrounding the meaning of our existence and the variety of philosophical, ethical, religious and cultural responses to these. Students will learn to think critically, express their own positions through analytical writing and engage in current issues by examining the deeper ideas behind media headlines on Islam. Students will find themselves re-examining their own world view and approaching today’s diverse and conflicted world with renewed tolerance and understanding.
