Mr Robert Ward

Vice-Chair of Council


Robert was appointed a Governor in 2011. He is chairman of the Finance & General Purposes Committee and also a member of the Salaries and Nominations Committees.


Robert worked in the accountancy profession for several large accountancy practices, principally KPMG. For a number of years he specialised in restructuring work.


He has previously been a governor of a local primary school. Following his retirement he has undertaken various charitable activities. Currently these activities include being a volunteer adviser for Citizens Advice, treasurer of a local Church and a village Scout Group and various roles within Rotary.

St Albans High School for Girls (STAHS) is celebrating fantastic A Level results, with 90% of pupils achieving grades A*-B and 97% grades A*-C.
