Mr Nick Hamshaw


Deputy Head Academic

After gaining an MMath degree in Mathematics and a PGCE at the University of Oxford, Nick Hamshaw began his teaching career in 1999 at Aylesbury Grammar School in Buckinghamshire. After serving as Head of Year 7 at AGS Nick moved to Radley College in Oxfordshire, where he was an assistant housemaster for four years. In 2008 Nick took up his first Head of Mathematics post at Oundle School before going on to fulfil the same role at the Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School in 2010. Now Academic Deputy Head at STAHS Nick continues his mathematical work as an author of IGCSE Mathematics textbooks for CUP and as a developer for the new OCR A Levels in Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
