Fame Lives Forever in Audiences’ Memories

Posted on 3 December 2019

From 28-30 November 2019, Senior School students lit up STAHS with their performances of Fame the Musical. The stage show, based on the classic film of the same name, followed a cast of outstanding dancers, singers, musicians and actors as they transformed from star struck pupils to superstars. It was a rip-roaring success with audience members coming out of the Jubilee Hall astounded at the talents on display.

Director Holly Whymark said, “It has been a privilege to work with such talented performers, musicians and crew, who have brought their expertise to many aspects of the show. It has been a joy to see girls working collaboratively across year groups and embracing opportunities to take a lead on different aspects of production and mentor other girls. I would like to thank all staff, girls and parents who made the performances possible.”
