Aiming high

Posted on 4 March 2015

On 3 March we were pleased to host a Cambridge Admissions Conference, encouraging students to aim high. The key note speakers were Dr Sam Lucy and Ms Katie Ruthven from Newnham College. The event also benefitted from the contribution of a number of former High School students who are either currently undergraduates at Cambridge or recent graduates. This enabled a number of discussion groups to run focussing on specific subject areas. These were also arenas in which current Year 13 girls could share their recent experience of the Oxbridge application process.

In addition to our own students, we were pleased to have approx. 70 students from seven other schools join us, with the plenary session offering an opportunity for parents to join the event and ask questions.
