Unlike many independent schools that benefit from an endowment, St Albans High School for Girls is reliant on school fees to provide an exceptional education to academically able, independent-minded girls, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.

2019 marks 130 years since STAHS was founded. In that time education – and particularly the education of young women – has changed beyond recognition. In order to continue to teach girls from all backgrounds in an inspirational and vibrant educational environment, utilising the latest equipment, we must look to philanthropic support.

No-one can predict what the next century will bring, but through philanthropy we can ensure that we are placed to continue to support our girls, their families and our community so that we can meet the challenges ahead.
