We hope you enjoy using the StAHS web site. If you have trouble viewing content and wish to increase the size of objects on your screen, you can zoom in to get a clearer view.

To do this (Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome) hold down the CTRL key and press the + (plus) key­ until the objects reach the size you are happy with. To zoom back out, hold down CTRL and press the – (minus) key.

In Internet Explorer, you can also access the zoom settings from the Status Bar, which can be found at the bottom of the window. Click on the ‘100%’ or image of the Magnifying Glass to cycle between three levels of zoom. You can also click the arrow to bring the full zoom menu up, as below.

Beyond the Curriculum

Girls can explore new skills and exploit their talents in a range of clubs. These take place at lunchtime and after school and there is a huge range from which to choose. Tap dancing, chess and gymnastics; tennis, drama and art; Mandarin, Italian, German, Spanish and even Japanese; and one can only guess at what goes on in ‘Funky Science’! But one thing for sure is that no one is ever lost for something to do here at Wheathampstead House.
