Physical Education

Sport features prominently among the many extra-curricular activities, as well as forming an important part of the curriculum itself.
As the sports on offer during the curriculum and extra-curricular activities have broadened, the girls have even more opportunities at a variety of levels to participate.
The main games at the School are lacrosse, netball and tennis. In Years 7 to 9, girls are also taught gymnastics, dance, athletics, volleyball, rounders, hockey, football, badminton and swimming.
As girls progress further through the school, they are introduced to an even wider range of sports such as basketball, aerobics, fitness suite activities, circuits and yoga. Girls are also encouraged to develop leadership skills and have opportunities to assist with coaching and umpiring at extra-curricular clubs and matches.
Sports fixtures are also available on the School's VLE.
