Statement of Care And Consideration for Others

The code of conduct here at the High School is enshrined in our Statement of Care and Consideration for Others, drawn up by the girls themselves.
At St Albans High School we feel that it is important...
- to respect others regardless of age, race, background, ability or appearance
- to treat others as we would like to be treated ourselves
- to act positively against all bullying, to recognise when a joke ceases to be funny and becomes hurtful
- to rejoice in the successes of others and give encouragement and support in times of success and disappointment
- to provide a caring environment where the relationship between pupils and staff is open, fair and friendly
- to value extra-curricular achievement as much as academic success
- to have conviction in our own beliefs and to appreciate those of others that every girl leaves having had the opportunity to achieve personal fulfilment, looking forward to the future with confidence, humour and compassion
School policies are available in the Download Centre.
