Learning to Lead

With privilege comes responsibility and we rely heavily on the work of the Head Girl and her School Officer Team to ensure the smooth running of many aspects of school life. House Officers assist the Housemistresses in the organisation of activities and the fostering of House spirit, and girls act as prefects and willing ears to the younger girls in the school.

In the Sixth Form there are many opportunities available where the girls can develop their leadership skills. This enables students to gain an insight into the running of the school, make changes and generally contribute to school life. Learning to lead is also an important life skill, equipping you for the future.

Some of these opportunities include:

  • School Officers
  • House Officers
  • Prefects
  • Sports Captains
  • Extra Curricular Activities

These are by no means the full extent of opportunities girls have to lead, merely an overview of the main leadership roles here at the High School.
