We hope you enjoy using the StAHS web site. If you have trouble viewing content and wish to increase the size of objects on your screen, you can zoom in to get a clearer view.

To do this (Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome) hold down the CTRL key and press the + (plus) key­ until the objects reach the size you are happy with. To zoom back out, hold down CTRL and press the – (minus) key.

In Internet Explorer, you can also access the zoom settings from the Status Bar, which can be found at the bottom of the window. Click on the ‘100%’ or image of the Magnifying Glass to cycle between three levels of zoom. You can also click the arrow to bring the full zoom menu up, as below.

Girls entering the Sixth Form at St Albans High School enjoy all the advantages of a supportive school environment but with the increased level of flexibility and independence associated with a college or university. Girls are monitored and supported by an experienced and committed team of teachers who work in close consultation with the Head of Sixth Form and the Assistant Head of Sixth Form, as well as Housemistresses, to ensure that each girl has at her disposal the means to identify and achieve her goals.
