We hope you enjoy using the StAHS web site. If you have trouble viewing content and wish to increase the size of objects on your screen, you can zoom in to get a clearer view.

To do this (Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome) hold down the CTRL key and press the + (plus) key­ until the objects reach the size you are happy with. To zoom back out, hold down CTRL and press the – (minus) key.

In Internet Explorer, you can also access the zoom settings from the Status Bar, which can be found at the bottom of the window. Click on the ‘100%’ or image of the Magnifying Glass to cycle between three levels of zoom. You can also click the arrow to bring the full zoom menu up, as below.

Herein magazine 2010 - Editors' Letter

Dear All

Working on the Herein Magazine has been extremely good fun; from interviewing famous people who have been on the TV, to making up our own school timetable. We hope you enjoy reading this magazine as much as we enjoyed making it!

2010 has been the year of the general election in the UK, and as the national media is constantly filled with influential people, we decided this year to base our articles for the Herein Magazine on people who are influential and inspiring to us here at the High School. We are sure you will be interested in our choice of subjects.

Finally, we’d just like to say a huge thank you to the publishers and the departments who have helped contribute to the magazine. A big thank you must go to Mrs Ross and Mrs Gavin, who have helped us every step of the way, and, of course, to our fabulous committee, without whom we never could have completed the magazine.
