Projects

Our new Sports Complex was officially opened on 20 September 2006 by HM Lord-Lieutenant for Hertfordshire, Sir Simon Bowes Lyon. Other guests included the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire, Mr Bill Tudor John, the Mayor of St Albans, Mrs Alison Steer (an Old Girl of the school) and the Dean of St Albans, The Very Rev Dr Jeffrey John.

The new building includes a 25m indoor swimming pool and sports facility which includes an air conditioned dance studio with sprung floor and hi-tech sound system, a fully equipped fitness suite and male and female changing rooms. It is now in regular use, not only by our girls in the Senior School and Wheathampstead House but outside school hours by organisations in the local community.

To all our supporters, please accept our sincere thanks for making this project possible.
