How to help

Behind every great school is a strong community, and even as we celebrate individual successes, we recognise how much they owe to the dedicated support of others. For 120 years our girls have enjoyed an education enriched by the generosity of our benefactors. With your help, we hope they will continue to do so for many years to come.

All donations, however large or small, make a real difference. Over the years, our supporters have helped us to fund a wide range of additional extras, such as sports equipment or a new PA system. And on occasions when we have appealed for help with funding major projects, we have been overwhelmed by their generosity. We also receive a significant number of one-off and regular donations in support of our fees assistance programme.

What you can do:

  • shop online via www.buy.at/sahs to ensure retailers top up our funds
  • make a donation to help fund special extras. This can be done by:
    1. automated payment
    2. sending a cheque made payable to St Albans High School for Girls with a completed Gift Form
    3. by completing a Standing Order Form and returning to us with a Gift Form
  • increase the value of your donation through Gift Aid or your employer's matching gifts programme
  • give tax-efficiently through a gift of shares or by making a legacy pledge
  • make a gift in kind or donation of property - please contact the School
