Scholarships

The award of a Scholarship is made solely on the basis of academic performance in such tests as are set at the time, namely at the ages of eleven and sixteen.
Awards are for the duration of the candidate's time in school, provided that her progress and conduct remain satisfactory. Any girl offered a scholarship may also apply for fees assistance, subject to her parents' financial needs so that the total fee remission could be up to 100%. Details of what will be expected may be obtained from the Registrar.
The final decision in respect of all scholarships will be made by the Headmistress who will use her professional judgement to balance consideration of academic standard, general conduct and overall contribution to the School. All the information provided by applicants will, of course, be treated with the strictest confidence.
Please email the Registrar at admissions@stalbans-high.herts.sch.uk for further information on 11+ and 16+ academic scholarships and the 11+ Du Cane music scholarship and fees assistance for music.
