We hope you enjoy using the StAHS web site. If you have trouble viewing content and wish to increase the size of objects on your screen, you can zoom in to get a clearer view.

To do this (Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome) hold down the CTRL key and press the + (plus) key­ until the objects reach the size you are happy with. To zoom back out, hold down CTRL and press the – (minus) key.

In Internet Explorer, you can also access the zoom settings from the Status Bar, which can be found at the bottom of the window. Click on the ‘100%’ or image of the Magnifying Glass to cycle between three levels of zoom. You can also click the arrow to bring the full zoom menu up, as below.

Senior School Admissions

At 11+ St Albans High School is part of the London Independent Girls' Schools' Consortium which sets common papers for English and Mathematics examinations and holds the examinations on the same day. Results from the Entrance examinations are made available to all the other schools in the Consortium and applicants are given equal consideration by all the schools to which they have applied.

Offers of places in the Sixth Form are provisional until the results of GCSE examinations are known: we require a minimum of five GCSE passes at Grade A or A* for internal and external candidates, with A or A* in any subject intended for study at Advanced Level.
