Senior School Admissions

At 11+ St Albans High School is part of the London Independent Girls' Schools' Consortium which sets common papers for English and Mathematics examinations and holds the examinations on the same day as each other. Results from the Entrance Examinations are made available to all the other schools in the Consortium and applicants are given equal consideration by all the schools to which they have applied.

How to apply to the Senior School

  1. Click here to request a Prospectus or contact the Registrar for further information.
  2. Visit the School on an Open Day or by booking a weekday tour via the Registrar's Office above
  3. Complete a Registration Form by the closing date (as a general rule, this is 30 November of the year prior to required entry)
  4. Your daughter will be invited by letter for the Entrance Examination
  5. Following the Entrance Examination, she may also be invited back for a group interview and task
  6. You will receive a letter to let you know the outcome of the Entrance Examination
  7. If a place is offered, you are asked to pay the Acceptance Deposit, or decline the offer, by the deadline date
